Abstract:
A powder coating resin composition characterized by comprising 100 parts by weight of (A) a vinyl copolymer having as the main crosslinking group silyl groups represented by the general formula: -Si(R�a?)-X�3-a?- (wherein R is C�1?-C�10? alkyl, C�6?-C�10? aryl or C�7?-C�10? aralkyl; X is hydrogen, halogeno, hydroxyl, alkoxy, phenoxy, thioalkoxy, acyloxy, aminoxy, ketoxymate, amino, amido or alkenyloxy; and a is an integer of 0 to 2) and 0.01 to 10 parts by weight of (B) a curing catalyst. This composition can provide a powder coating material which has a new crosslinking mode, is excellent in weathering resistance and free from environmental problems, and can be produced at a low cost.
