Abstract:
Provided is a powder compression-molded core which is suitable as a constituent member of a small inductor and contains a plurality of types of powders composed of soft magnetic materials, wherein a first powder and a second powder, which are two types of the plurality of types of powders, satisfy the following expressions. (1-1): D1>D2, (1-2): 0.23≤(D1-D2)/D1<0.3, (1-3): D1≤5.9 μm, and (1-4): 3 μm≤DT≤5.7 μm. Among the plurality of types of powders contained in the powder compression-molded core, the first powder has the largest particle diameter (median diameter) and the second powder has the smallest median diameter at a cumulative particle size distribution of 50% from the small particle size side in a volume-based particle size distribution measured by a laser diffraction/scattering method. D1 is the median diameter of the first powder, and D2 is the median diameter of the second powder. DT can be obtained by R1×D1+R2×D2 using the weight ratio R1 of the first powder and the weight ratio R2 of the second powder.
