Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a powder dispersion composition that can achieve a high ultraviolet protective effect while reducing sensations of heaviness on the skin, and also maintaining the feelings of use of a good freshness and spreadability required for oil-in-water emulsion cosmetics. A powder dispersion composition in which a powder is dispersed and which is characterized in that the average particle diameter of the powder in the dispersion composition is not more than 10-times the primary particle diameter of the powder, the polydispersity index (PDI value) of the average particle diameter in the dispersion composition is not more than 0.14, and the absorbance per 1% of the powder is at least 150.
