Abstract:

Provided is a powder paint capable of forming a film having excellent metallic hue, concealment properties, and weather resistance. The powder paint includes a fluororesin (A), a resin (B), and a pigment (C) as constituent components thereof and is characterized by the pigment (C) content being 0.7%-23% by mass relative to total powder paint. Fluororesin (A): A fluroresin having a fluorine content of at least 10% by mass. Resin (B): A resin having a greater SP value than the fluororesin (A), the difference between said SP value and the SP value for the fluororesin (A) being at least 0.4 (J/cm3) 1/2. Pigment (C): A metallic pigment covered by covering material, the SP value for the covering material being greater than the SP value for the fluororesin (A) and less than the SP value for the resin (B).
