Abstract:
Provided are: a powder having zirconia as a main ingredient, and further including at least a transition metal element, said powder yielding a pre-sintered body having more suitable mechanical characteristics for pre-sintered body processing; a production method therefor; and at least one among a pre-sintered body obtained from the powder, a sintered body, and a production method for these. This zirconia powder includes a stabilizing element and the transition metal element, and in an element ratio frequency distribution in which the transition metal element/zirconium is plotted at 0.005 intervals, the difference between the minimum value and the maximum value of the transition metal element/zirconium is less than 0.25.
