Abstract:
Provided is a powder transport method with which powder containing 30 mass% or more of particles having a grain size of 45 µm or smaller is mixed with silicone oil and then transported together with a carrier gas. The amount of silicone oil mixed with respect to the powder is 0.1 to 0.5 mass%, and the powder is a refining agent comprising one or more of quicklime, limestone, sintered dolomite, raw dolomite, metallic Mg, and soda lime glass. As a result, it is possible to prevent adhesion of the powder to the inside of tubing and transport the powder properly.
