Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a powdered cellulose which, when forming has been performed, does not readily lead to a collapse. The present invention is a powdered cellulose whereof the mean particle diameter is 5 to 150 μm, and the in-water sonication residual ratio represented by formula (1) is 20 to 60%. Formula (1): In-water sonication residual ratio (%) = [particle diameter at 50% cumulative total volume by wet method measurement (with ultrasound irradiation)/particle diameter at 50% cumulative total volume by wet method measurement (without ultrasound irradiation)] × 100
