Abstract:
The present application provides a power adapter and a fabrication method therefor. The power adapter comprises a housing, a circuit board assembly, and a first heat dissipation part. The housing is internally provided with an accommodating space, a first end of the housing is provided with a line interface, and a second end of the housing is provided with a power connector. The circuit board assembly is disposed in the accommodating space, and the circuit board assembly is electrically connected to the line interface and the power connector. The first heat dissipation part is wrapped on the outside of the circuit board assembly, and a gap is provided between the outer wall of the first heat dissipation part and the inner wall of the housing. When the foregoing structure is employed, an air layer is formed between the first heat dissipation part and the housing, the thermal resistance between the circuit board assembly and the housing is increased, and the speed at which a heating component of the circuit board assembly transfers heat the housing is reduced, which prevents the housing from overheating within a short period of time when the power adapter is used, effectively reduces the temperature of the casing of the power adapter, and improves the overall reliability and safety of the power adapter.
