Abstract:
Provided is a power amplification circuit operating in a linear mode and a saturation mode, comprising: a signal output unit for receiving input of a control voltage and outputting an adjustment signal based on the linear mode or the saturation mode; an amplifier of at least one driver stage to which the adjustment signal is supplied, and which receives input of an RF input signal and amplifies the input RF input signal; and an amplifier of an output stage to which a power supply voltage is supplied and which amplifies the amplified RF input signal output from the amplifier of the driver stage to output an RF output signal. The signal output unit includes a voltage output unit to which the power supply voltage and the control voltage are supplied and which outputs the adjustment signal, and a switching unit for controlling the voltage output unit so that the power supply voltage is output as the adjustment signal in the linear mode, and a voltage substantially proportional to the control voltage is output as the adjustment signal in the saturation mode.
