Abstract:
Disclosed is a power amplifier calibration method, the method comprising: defining two working modes according to different output voltage ranges; in a first working mode, maintaining a power supply voltage unchanged, and building a first physical model of the relationship between an output voltage and the number of opened amplifier units; in a second working mode, maintaining the number of opened amplifier units unchanged, and building a second physical model of the relationship between an output voltage and a power supply voltage; and separately calibrating the first physical model and the second physical model. According to the power amplifier calibration method of the present invention, by making use of the physical principle of a power amplifier, physical models are built respectively according to different output voltages; when the voltage is small, the first physical model is used to implement precise control to the output voltage by controlling the number of opened amplifier units; when the output voltage is large, the second physical model is used to implement precise control to the output voltage by controlling the power supply voltage. Therefore, the calibration method can cover a full output range, and ensures the calibration precision.
