Abstract:
The present invention provides a power amplifier. The power amplifier comprises a first drive stage bias circuit, a first drive stage transistor cell, a first power stage bias circuit, a first power stage transistor cell, an input matching circuit, a second drive stage transistor cell, a second drive stage bias circuit, an inter-stage matching circuit, a second power stage transistor cell, a second power stage bias circuit, an output matching circuit, and a CMOS controller. The CMOS controller, according to an external control signal, controls the working states of the input matching circuit, the inter-stage matching circuit, the output matching circuit, the first drive stage bias circuit, the first power stage bias circuit, the second drive stage bias circuit, and the second power stage bias circuit, respectively. The present invention further provides a chip using the power amplifier. By using the technical solution of the present invention, the power amplifier may independently work at a 4G working frequency or a 5G working frequency, and the power consumption of the circuit is low.
