Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application is a power amplifier protection device using pre-distortion, comprising a signal channel selection switch, a pre-distortion processor, and a comparator. The pre-distortion processor is provided on a pre-distortion channel, and the signal channel selection switch receives a control signal output by the comparator to control an input signal to be switched between a straight-through channel and the pre-distortion channel. Also disclosed in the present application is a power amplifier protection method using pre-distortion. In the present application, by detecting stray signals, the pre-distortion processor is controlled to be switched between a pre-distortion state and a reset state, the situation that a power amplifier is damaged due to the fact that the stray signals generated outside the band are wide in bandwidth and large in amplitude is avoided, and moreover, normal out-of-band scattering signals are reserved for nonlinear correction.
