Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power cable, particularly, an ultra-high voltage underground or submarine cable for long-distance direct current transmission. Specifically, the present invention relates to a power cable in which an insulating layer has high dielectric strength, and an electric field applied from the insulating layer to a metal sheath is uniformly and effectively relieved and, particularly, a return circuit of a fault current is effectively ensured when a grounding or short-circuit accident of the cable occurs, thereby enabling safety to be promoted, insulating oil is impregnated well during manufacturing process, and problems such as damage of metalized paper are removed during cable manufacturing.
