Abstract:
In a conventional power supply system, a motor load, etc., cannot be easily activated after switching to autonomous operation. A power conditioner according to the present invention is provided with: a DC/DC converter that converts DC power from a DC power source into a prescribed voltage; an inverter that converts the DC power from the DC/DC converter into AC power; a switch arranged between the AC power output terminal of the inverter and a commercial power source; and a control unit that controls the output current of the AC power from the inverter. The control unit controls, when switching to the autonomous operation is conducted by opening the switch, the output current so as not to exceed a predetermined first upper limit on the basis of the rated output current value of the power conditioner if a prescribed condition is not satisfied, and controls the output current so as not to exceed a second upper limit larger than the first upper limit if the prescribed condition is satisfied.
