Abstract:
The power conditioner is equipped with: a main circuit which converts DC voltage into AC voltage and outputs the AC voltage to a first terminal; an AC/DC voltage converter which converts the AC voltage into a first DC voltage and outputs the first DC voltage to a second terminal; a secondary battery which is charged with the first DC voltage; a first DC/DC voltage converter which converts the first DC voltage into a second DC voltage; a control circuit which, upon detecting whether or not a voltage of the first terminal indicates a power failure state, generates a sleep signal; a voltage detection circuit which outputs as a voltage detection signal a magnitude relation between a voltage of the second terminal and a reference voltage; a second DC/DC voltage converter which converts a voltage of the secondary battery into a third DC voltage and supplies the third DC voltage to an external device; a current detection circuit outputs as a current detection signal a magnitude relation between a current of the external device and a reference current; and switches which open/close connection between the second terminal and the secondary battery on the basis of the sleep signal, the voltage detection signal, and the current detection signal, thereby connecting the second terminal with the secondary battery when a change in the current detection signal is detected while the voltage of the first terminal is in the power failure state and the second terminal and the secondary battery are in a non-connected state.
