Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a power control device in which, when transferring power between nodes through a power line, a converter can be used at an optimum conversion efficiency.
[Solution] Provided is a power control device provided with: an acquiring unit for acquiring, from a power receiving side node for receiving power through a power line, information about the characteristics of a converter for converting voltages between the power line and a storage battery on the power receiving side; and a setting unit for setting the voltage of the power line using the information acquired by the acquiring unit and the characteristics of a converter for converting voltages between the power line and a storage battery on the power transmitting side.
