Abstract:

Provided are a power control method for an electronic cigarette and an electronic cigarette, relating to the technical field of electronic cigarettes. The power control method for an electronic cigarette is used for controlling a power supply device (20) to output power to a heating element (30) and comprises: determining a target power; setting a middle power according to the target power, wherein the middle power is less than the target power; controlling the power supply device (20) to output power to the heating element (30), and enabling the power output by the power supply device (20) to directly reach the middle power in the first stage; adjusting the power output by the power supply device (20) so that the power reaches the target power in the second stage, wherein the duration of the first stage is shorter than the duration of the second stage; and controlling the power supply device (20) to constantly output the target power to the heating element (30) in the third stage. By this means, the power rise time is shortened, and the ignition speed of the electronic cigarette is increased.
