Abstract:
This power conversion device is provided with: a first inverter (IV1) connected to a DC power supply (1) and a load (8); and at least one second inverter (IV2) connected to the first inverter (IV1) and the load (8). The first inverter (IV1) is constituted by Si semiconductor elements. In the two arms of the second inverter (IV2), two or more first semiconductor elements (3UU2, 3UL2) connected to the first inverter (IV1) and constituting a first arm (10) are Si semiconductor elements, and two or more second semiconductor elements (12U, 12L) connected to the load (8) and constituting a second arm (11) are SiC semiconductor elements.
