Abstract:
A power conversion device (10) is provided with a plurality of conversion units (11), a prediction section (12), and a control section (13). The conversion units (11) convert direct current power into predetermined power, and output the power to an electric load (5), said direct current power having been supplied from a storage battery (31). The prediction section (12) predicts, as the lowest power value (W1), the lowest value among power consumption values of the electric load (5) during a predetermined period (T1). The control section (13) makes a power conversion section (110) operate, said power conversion section being configured from the minimum number (X1) of conversion units (11) needed to output the lowest power value (W1), and supply power to the electric load (5). The control section (13) is configured so as to sequentially switch the power conversion section (110) to one of the minimum number (X1) of the conversion units (11).
