Title:
POWER CONVERSION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/128991
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention is a power conversion device that is capable of suppressing an increase in DC voltage due to regenerated current. An inverter (3) converts DC voltage applied between a first and second power supply line (LH, LL) to AC voltage, and applies the AC voltage to an inductive load (6). A capacitor (C1) is provided between the first and second power supply lines. A diode (D1) is connected in series to the capacitor (C1) between the first and second power supply lines (LH, LL) and has an anode on the first power supply line (LH) side in the series path with the capacitor (C1). A switch element (S1) is connected in parallel to the diode (D1). A current detection part (4) detects regenerated current flowing from the first power supply line (LH) through the capacitor (C1) to the second power supply line (LL). In a state where the inverter (3) applies AC voltage to the inductive load (6), a switching controller (51) makes the switch element (S1) conductive on the occasion of the regenerated current being greater than a prescribed value.
