Abstract:
The present invention improves current responsiveness in a light-load operation. A control device (3) controls a DC-DC converter (1) according to the current value of an input/output current (i1) of the DC-DC converter (1). The DC-DC converter (1) comprises a transformer (Tr1), a first capacitor (C1), a second capacitor (C2), a first bridge circuit (7), and a second bridge circuit (8). The first bridge circuit (7) comprises a plurality of semiconductor switching elements. The second bridge circuit (8) comprises a plurality of semiconductor switching elements. The control device (3) has, as a control mode for controlling the DC-DC converter (1), a frequency control mode for controlling a drive frequency while fixing a phase shift amount, and a phase control mode for controlling the phase shift amount while fixing the drive frequency. The control device (3) switches the control mode from the frequency control mode to the phase control mode if the drive frequency has reached a frequency limit during operation of the frequency control mode.
