Abstract:
A power converter that comprises a control unit that controls the power conversion characteristics of a power conversion unit in accordance with an input value and a reference function to which a plurality of droop functions are connected. For each droop function, the power converter acquires a control area that defines a voltage and power or current range for which voltage control or power or current control is to be performed. The control area is set such that, when an operating point has deviated from the droop function, the variation or the number of variations in the voltage or the power or current is minimized during the time until the voltage or the power or current, without converging outside a range defined by the connection point of the droop function, converges on a given droop function after varying. A control method for the power conversion characteristics is set on the basis of the control area and the operating point. When the operating point has transitioned through the control area, the control area is altered in accordance with the droop function that corresponds to the post-transition control area.
