Abstract:
This power feeding device 100 conforms to the USB (Universal Serial Bus) -PD (Power Delivery) specification. A bus line 220 transmits a bus voltage VBUS. A first power supply circuit 130 generates a first bus voltage having a first voltage level V1. A second power supply circuit 132 generates a second bus voltage having a second voltage level V2 that is higher than the first voltage level V1. A first switch SW1 is provided between the bus line 220 and the output terminal of the first power supply circuit 130, and a second switch SW2 is provided between the bus line 220 and the output terminal of the second power supply circuit 132. A control circuit 140 is configured so as to receive via the bus line 220 a control signal S1 from a power receiving device 200 to which power is to be fed, and control the first switch SW1 and the second switch SW2 on the basis of the control signal S1.
