Abstract:
A power generation device having a power generation unit and an activation unit. The power generation unit has a piezoelectric element that generates power by means of vibration, and a first attraction part provided on the piezoelectric element. The activation unit moves a second attraction part from a first position, in which the second attraction part is attracted to the first attraction part, to a second position, thereby bending the piezoelectric element. The piezoelectric element, having been bent by the activation unit, vibrates when the attraction between the first attraction part and the second attraction part is eliminated. The second attraction part of the activation unit moves to the second position, in which the second attraction part is separated from the first attraction part, when the attraction to the first attraction part is eliminated. The second attraction part, having moved to the second position, returns to the first position due to the magnetic attractive force in the state in which the first attraction part and the second attraction part are separated.
