Title:
POWER GENERATION METHOD AND POWER GENERATING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1998/029653
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A boiler mono-fuel combustion fuel (1) is subjected to partial treatment to be separated into a distillate component (3) and residue (4), the distillate component (3) or the distillate component (3), to which a fuel (101) for gas turbines is added according to circumstances, is supplied to gas turbines (21, 22, 23) to generate electric power, a combustion exhaust gas (28) is supplied to a boiler (31) to which the residue (4) is added or the residue (4) to which the boiler mono-fuel combustion fuel (1) is added is added according to circumstances, is burned, and power generation is effected with a resulting steam (32). Accordingly, it is possible to perform highly efficient power generation utilizing the boiler mono-fuel combustion fuel (1) such as a low cost coal, heavy oils and plastics waste, and the fuel (101) for turbines, and further to perform power generation with less adverse influences on environments and at a low installation cost.
