Abstract:
A power generation system 1 is provided with: one or more distributed power supplies 5, 6 including inverters 5A, 6A; a cogeneration 4 capable of generating power and heat; and an energy management device 100 for managing power generation by the distributed power supplies 5, 6 and the cogeneration 4. The energy management device 100 is provided with: an active/reactive power optimization unit 13 for reducing the amount of active power generated by the distributed power supplies and switching the output of active power to the output of reactive power in order to output the reactive power having a necessary reactive power amount; and a thermoelectricity optimization unit 14 for performing control so as to allow the cogeneration 4 to generate the amount of active power reduced in the distributed power supplies. Alternatively, by providing, in the power generation system 1, a thermal load 9 that can use heat, the thermoelectricity optimization unit 14 may allow the heat generated by the cogeneration 4 to be supplied to the thermal load 9.
