The purpose of the present invention is to provide a power generation system capable of stably controlling, with a single power converter, the output power of a main winding and an auxiliary winding of a two-winding induction generator. For that purpose, the present invention provides a power generation system provided with: a power generator having a stator that includes a main winding and an auxiliary winding; a rectifier connected to the main winding; a power converter, connected to the auxiliary winding, for controlling the voltages of the main winding and the auxiliary winding; and, a control device for outputting, to the power converter, a control signal that corresponds to a voltage command value for the auxiliary winding, wherein the control device calculates, on the basis of the current and the voltage of the main winding, the voltage variation in the auxiliary winding caused by the magnetic flux of the main winding interfering with the auxiliary winding, and adds the voltage variation to the voltage command value for the auxiliary winding.
