The purpose of the present invention is to provide a power generator which allows for easy replacement and repeated utilization of a metal electrode and an electrolytic solution. A power generator 1 is provided with: an electrolytic solution bath 3B which is provided in a body 3 and is loaded with an electrolytic solution; an air electrode 43 which is provided on the inner surface side of the electrolytic solution bath 3B and which has an inner surface in contact with the electrolytic solution and an outer surface in contact with external air; a metal 70 which is disposed on the inside of the electrolytic solution bath 3B and is immersed in the electrolytic solution; a mounting operation portion 60 which holds the metal electrode 70 on one end side thereof in a longitudinal direction; and a head portion unit 2 detachably attached to an upper part of the electrolytic solution bath. The body 3 has an opening portion permitting passage of the metal electrode 70 and fitting with the mounting operation portion 60. The mounting operation portion 60 is provided with a negative pole conduction terminal 67 which is in conduction with the metal electrode 70 and permits transmission of generated electricity to the outside. The head portion unit 2 or the body 3 is provided with a negative pole contact 23 which is connected to the conduction terminal and permits conduction.
