Abstract:
The present application provides a power line communication (PLC) method and apparatus. The method comprises: in an n-th networking process of a PLC network, a first station: generates a first broadcast packet, wherein n>1, the first broadcast packet comprises a first network identifier (NID) and a terminal equipment identifier (TEI), the first NID is determined by a CCO in an (n-1)-th networking process of the PLC network, and the TEI uses a preset value; and sends the first broadcast packet; and a second station: receives the first broadcast packet; determines, when the TEI uses the preset value, whether the first NID is consistent with a second NID stored in a power-off non-volatile storage medium, wherein the second NID is determined by the CCO in the (n-1)-th networking process of the PLC network; and processes the first broadcast packet when the first NID is consistent with the second NID. The present application can implement the communication of stations that do not access a network, improve the communication efficiency of PLC networks, and improve the use experience of users having real-time control requirements.
