Abstract:
A power line communication unit of the present invention has: a drive block including an actuator control circuit and a drive circuit; and a communication block. The actuator control circuit generates a control pulse for controlling an actuator, and controls transition timing of the control pulse to be in an operation period set in a communication cycle by a communication clock. On the basis of the control pulse, the transition timing of which has been controlled, the drive circuit controls a drive current of the actuator, said drive current being to be supplied from a direct current power supply via a power line. The communication block generates the communication clock, and in a signal transmission period set in the communication cycle, said signal transmission period being different from the operation period, the communication block modulates, corresponding to data to be transmitted, a current flowing in the power line.
