Abstract:
This power management device comprises: a control unit that controls a power storage device installed in a facility that is connected to a power grid; and a transmission unit that transmits, to a higher-order node, adjustable power information that indicates adjustable power for adjusting the power supply-and-demand balance of the power grid. The adjustable power information indicates the adjustable power in a form that allows discrimination of whether the adjustable power is power that raises or lowers the power demand of the facility, whether or not the adjustable power includes reverse-flow power to the power grid, and whether or not the adjustable power includes surplus power. The surplus power is the difference between the power generated by a power generation device installed in the facility and the power consumption of the facility.
