Abstract:
The present invention relates to a power management device of a power system, linked with distributed power resources, and a method therefor, the power management device comprising: a plurality of power conversion devices connected in parallel with the power system; a plurality of energy storage devices respectively connected with the plurality of power conversion devices so as to store power supplied from the power conversion devices or to supply the stored power to the power system through the power conversion devices; and a control unit for controlling, when the occurrence of a malfunction of at least one of the plurality of power conversion devices is sensed, opening/closing operations of switches provided between corresponding power conversion devices and a corresponding energy storage device such that the energy storage device connected to a corresponding power conversion device is connected to any one of neighboring power conversion devices.
