Abstract:
[Problem] To accommodate consumer-specific state changes caused in each consumer individually and on a short-term basis, by having prediction of future electric power consumption in small-unit facilities, such as individual houses and small buildings, performed locally and independently. [Solution] This power management system is provided with: a results data D1 which generates results data D1 by measuring the amount of electric power generated or consumed in a user system 4; an operating electric apparatus identifying unit 402d which analyzes temporal variations in a total power consumption measured in units of consumers in the user system 4, and estimates individual apparatuses operating in the consumer and an individual power consumption which is power consumed by the individual apparatuses; and an electric power prediction unit 402f which, using an estimation history D2 in which the state of power supply of individual apparatuses is recorded in time series on the basis of estimation results, and with respect to the total power consumption measured in real time, estimates the number of individual apparatuses operating at the start of prediction from the real-time total power consumption, and predicts transition of individual power consumption in a prediction period from the start of prediction.
