An active electrode (E21) and a passive electrode (E22) are coupled to active electrodes (E11, E12) provided in a power transmitting device (10) by the electric field. The power based on the high-frequency voltage excited on the active electrode (E21) and the passive electrode (E22) is supplied to a mobile device (46) via a step-down transformer (34), a rectification smoothing circuit (36), and a DC-DC converter (38). A CPU (44) turns off switches (SW21, SW22) during wireless communication. The passive electrode (E22) functions as a booster antenna coupled to an antenna coil (40) by the magnetic field. A high-frequency signal output from an RF circuit (42) is transmitted via the antenna coil (40) and the passive electrode (E22), and another high-frequency signal transmitted from the power transmitting circuit (10) is input to the RF circuit (42) via the passive electrode (E22) and the antenna coil (40).
