Disclosed is a power reception apparatus that is provided with: a power reception unit that receives power supplied from a power supply apparatus in a non-contact manner; a protection circuit unit that changes a power reception voltage of the power received by means of the power reception unit; and a control unit that performs control on the basis of a plurality of threshold values such that the protection circuit unit is in a plurality of operation states.
