Abstract:
The present invention comprises: a first pinion shaft 104 that is connected to a steering wheel 101 and that is provided with first pinion teeth 104b which mesh with first rack teeth 105b formed on a rack bar; and a second pinion shaft 111 that is connected to a worm wheel 110 and that is provided with second pinion teeth 111b which mesh with second rack teeth 105c formed on the rack bar. The present invention further comprises an elastic member 200 that is provided between the worm wheel 110 and the meshing part of the second rack teeth 105c and the second pinion teeth 111b, and that enables relative rotation of the second pinion shaft 111 and the worm wheel 110 on the rotation axis of the second pinion shaft 111.
