Abstract:
A power storage device 50 comprises: a power storage cell 62; a temperature sensor 58 that measures the temperature of the power storage cell 62; an energizing component BSB that is provided to a current path of the power storage cell 62, and that has a smaller heat capacity than the power storage cell 62; and a control unit 130. The control unit 130 calculates or determines, on the basis of a current which flows to the power storage cell 62, a first time T1 which is a time until a temperature change of the energizing component BSB accompanying charging and/or discharging of the power storage cell 62 reaches a first threshold ΔTcnt. If an energizing time T accompanying charging and/or discharging of the power storage cell 62 exceeds the first time T1, the control unit restricts the current flowing to the power storage cell 62 so that a temperature difference between the power storage cell 62 and the energizing component BSB is no greater than the first threshold ΔTcnt.
