Abstract:
Provided is a power storage device comprising: a battery cell unit (10); bypass circuits that comprise impedance elements (20A to 20E) and switches (30A to 30E) and are provided corresponding to battery cells (10A to 10E) making up the battery cell unit; and a control means (1) that controls charging/discharging current flowing in each battery cell, by way of the bypass circuits and on the basis of the cell voltage of each battery cell, the control means (1) being configured so as to set a full-charge detection voltage and a charging control start voltage that is lower than the full-charge detection voltage, set a discharge lower-limit detection voltage and a discharging control start voltage that is higher than the discharge lower-limit detection voltage, control the bypass circuits on the basis of the full-charge detection voltage and charging control start voltage during a charging operation, and control the bypass circuits on the basis of the discharge lower-limit detection voltage and discharging control start voltage during a discharging operation.
