Abstract:
Provided are a power storage device, a power supply device, a moving body, a capacitor, and a method for protecting the power storage device which are capable of protecting power storage units even when an abnormality occurs in some of the power storage units. A power storage device 1 comprises a plurality of power storage units 2 and a plurality of blocking units 3. The plurality of power storage units 2 are electrically connected in parallel between a pair of connection points P1, P2. The plurality of blocking units 3 correspond to the plurality of power storage units 2 respectively. Each of the plurality of blocking units 3 electrically blocks between the corresponding one of the power storage units 2 and the pair of connection points P1, P2 when a current of a predetermined value or more flows through the corresponding one of the power storage units 2.
