Abstract:
This power storage device is provided with: a module stack containing a plurality of stacked power storage modules; and a casing constituting a first hermetic space for housing the module stack. The casing has: a casing body that includes a cylindrical side wall extending along the stacking direction of the module stack and a tabular bottom wall that occludes one end of the side wall; and a lid joined to the other end of the side wall. Due to the atmospheric pressure difference between inside and outside the first hermetic space, at least a portion of the bottom wall and the lid deform so as to approach each other, thereby binding the module stack along the stacking direction within the first hermetic space.
