Abstract:
The present invention ensures the supply of power to a load even in the event of a short circuit or open circuit failure in one of two power supplies that provide redundancy for supplying power to the load. This power supply box is equipped with a first switch, a second switch, and a control circuit. The first switch has one end connected to a first power supply and the other end on the load side, and is turned on during normal operations in which both the first power supply and a second power supply are operational with no short circuit or open circuit failure. The control circuit turns off the first switch if the current passing through the first switch flows in the direction opposite the flow direction during normal operations or is less than a predetermined threshold value.
