Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a power supply circuit for a power amplifier (PA) and a communication device, for use in improving the conversion efficiency of a power supply circuit of a PA. A power supply circuit for a PA comprises a charge pump and an envelope tracker. The charge pump and the envelope tracker are configured to supply power to a PA which is configured to perform power amplification on a radio frequency signal, wherein the power amplifier comprises a driver stage power amplifier and an output stage power amplifier, the driver stage power amplifier is configured to input a radio frequency signal, and the output stage power amplifier is configured to input a radio frequency signal amplified by the driver stage power amplifier. The charge pump is configured to supply power to the driver stage power amplifier; and the envelope tracker is configured to supply power to the output stage power amplifier.
