Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to reduce the heat generated by a power supply circuit. The present invention is a power supply circuit comprising: a transformer that is insulated between a primary side and a secondary side; a step-up circuit that steps up a voltage on the secondary side of the transformer; an amplification circuit that amplifies the difference between a voltage based on an output voltage of the step-up circuit and a designated voltage that specifies the output voltage of the step-up circuit; an amplitude control circuit 150 that supplies a voltage based on an output voltage of the amplification circuit to the primary side of the transformer while limiting the maximum output current, and a transistor that turns a current on the primary side of the transformer on and off in accordance with a prescribed clock. The amplitude control circuit 150 is configured to comprise: a comparator CMP1 that modulates the pulse width of the output voltage of the amplification circuit; and a MOSFET M2, a diode D1, a coil L1, and a capacitor C1 that, by performing a switching action in accordance with a modulated wave output by the comparator CMP1, step down and output a power supply voltage.
