Abstract:
In a communication system (1), ECUs (30, 31, 32) are connected to a bus (3). A relay device (2) receives data transmitted via the bus (3) by one of the ECUs (30, 31, 32), and determines, on the basis of the received content, whether power supply to the transmission source that transmitted the data should be cut off from the battery (5). If it is determined that power supply to the transmission source should be cut off, the relay device (2) cuts off the power supply to the transmission source from the battery (5).
