Abstract:
The present invention provides the capacity to increase and decrease non-operating time, increase and decrease the time an LED is lit, and modulate light, by: dividing the time interval, from when the voltage for each wave of an AC current-rectified pulsating voltage exceeds an operating lower limit for an SWR control unit and becomes operable to when said voltage drops to the operation lower limit for the SWR control unit and becomes inoperable, into two or more segments; immediately inputting a pulsating flow into the SWR control unit; gradually increasing the current value within each segment for each wave so the current value does not increase rapidly; gradually decreasing the current value in the latter segments; repeating this control for each wave to obtain an input current with few harmonic currents and an output voltage; generating an LED drive current using the output voltage; illuminating the LED using the LED drive current; controlling the segment width or number of segments for each pulsating wave; and inputting a phase-controlled AC voltage.
