Abstract:
This power supply-and-demand management system comprises: a first power generation facility; a second power generation facility that generates power using renewable energy; a substitution mechanism that performs substitution for output restrictions on power generated by the second power generation facility; and a server. The server comprises: an output restriction information acquisition unit that acquires output restriction information for the second power generation facility, including information on output restriction time slots for the second power generation facility and information on the quantity of output restriction; an output restriction substitutability information acquisition unit that acquires output restriction substitutability information, including information on time slots in which the substitution mechanism can perform substitution for power output restriction and information on the quantity of power for which output restriction substitution is possible; a determination unit that, on the basis of the output restriction information and the output restriction substitutability information, determines whether the restriction mechanism can perform output restriction substitution for the entire quantity of output restriction; and an output restriction substitution status control unit that controls, in accordance with the determination results by the determination unit, the status of substitution by the substitution mechanism for output restriction of power output from the second power generation facility.
