Abstract:
Provided is a power supply device equipped with: a first power supply circuit with which control of both voltage step-up and voltage step-down are possible; a second power supply circuit which is supplied with the output of the first power supply circuit, and the output of which is controlled by a frequency or pulse width; and a control unit which controls the first and second power supply circuits. The control unit is configured to switch between and execute: a first control in which the output of the first power supply circuit is variable, whereby the output of the second power supply circuit is variable; and a second control in which the output of the first power supply circuit is constant, and the output of the second power supply circuit is a prescribed output.
