Abstract:
This power supply device (S) sends AC power towards a power reception device in a contactless manner and has: a voltage converter (2); an inverter circuit (3) connected to the voltage converter; a communications unit (5) that receives output values from a rectification circuit provided in the power reception device, from the power reception device; and a switching control unit (7) that controls the inverter circuit such that the inverter circuit converts DC power to AC power and controls whether or not the voltage converter boosts input voltage, on the basis of whether or not the output values from the voltage converter or the output values from the rectification circuit reach a specified value.
