Abstract:
In order to provide a power supply device that secures stretchability even while increasing the strength of fastening a battery stack in which a plurality of secondary battery cells are stacked, the power supply device comprises: a plurality of secondary battery cells each having a rectangular outer can; a pair of end plates covering both end surfaces of the battery stack in which the plurality of secondary battery cells are stacked; and a plurality of metal fastening members (15) that are arranged on the opposite side surfaces of the battery stack in a plate shape extending along a stacking direction of the plurality of secondary battery cells and fasten the end plates to each other, wherein each of the plurality of fastening members (15) has a fastening part (15c) fixed to the end plate at both ends in a longitudinal direction and an intermediate part (15a) connecting the fastening parts (15c), the fastening part (15c) has a higher strength than the intermediate part (15a), and the intermediate part (15a) has a higher stretchability than the fastening part (15c).
