Abstract:
A power supply device according to the present invention comprises: a measurement unit that measures the voltage and/or current of a lithium-ion battery; a peak detection unit that uses the voltage and/or current measured by the measurement unit to detect a current maximum value and/or voltage minimum value during each occurrence of a fixed period of time; and an assessment unit that assesses defects in the lithium-ion battery on the basis of the current maximum value and/or voltage minimum value detected during each occurrence of the fixed period of time by the peak detection unit.
